Malcolm Moller is Managing Director of AGS Seychelles and Mauritius.

Malcolm is also the Group Managing Partner at Appleby. He has been with Appleby since 2003, having worked previously in the Appleby Bermuda office and led the opening of the Appleby offices in Mauritius and the Seychelles. He is a member of the Corporate department and both the Insurance and Structured Finance teams. He specialises in advising financial institutions on financial regulation, regulatory capital issues, financial institution M&A, and insurance-related transactions. He advises on private equity funds, hedge funds, derivatives transactions and securities offerings, as well as a range of corporate and corporate finance transactions.

He has extensive experience representing corporations, financial institutions and other entities. His experience spans public and private M&A, credit, restructuring, bankruptcy, capital markets, fund formation and winding-up, a variety of strategic and advisory corporate assignments.

Prior to joining Appleby in January 2003, Malcolm worked for Hardings Solicitors, Sydney, Australia, and Heath International Holdings Insurance Ltd (HIH Insurance Limited, formerly Winterthur International Insurance Ltd). He also worked at the London office of Clifford Chance, where he gained significant experience in corporate and insurance-related transactions.

Tim is Chief Executive Officer of AGS Global and Partner in Appleby’s Bermuda office.

He has significant management experience within the fiduciary sector, working with a broad cross-section of clients from multinationals to private clients. His sector focus is in overseeing administration and reporting services to corporate insurance and reinsurance clients. Tim serves as non-executive director for a number of large commercial reinsurers and retail insurers.

Tim has extensive experience of public and private insurance company capital raising and M&A activity, public listings on US, UK and European securities exchanges, the establishment and licensing of alternative risk financing vehicles such as cat bonds, ILWs and other insurance-linked securities and captive insurance companies in established and emerging markets.

Tim speaks at insurance industry conferences both in Bermuda and abroad, is a frequent author of articles and other thought leadership pieces and provides commentary to international and Bermuda media on the Bermuda insurance industry.

Brad Adderley is Director of AGS Bermuda and Managing Partner of Appleby Bermuda.

Brad has extensive experience in the insurance and reinsurance market and specialises in ILS and alternative collateralised reinsurance investment transactions. He has advised clients on a wide range of transactions including catastrophe bonds, special purpose insurers, sidecars, life insurance securitisations, and other fully collateralised structures. Brad is also a member of Appleby’s global Technology & Innovation team, providing comprehensive advice in connection with all aspects of initial coin offerings and the carrying on of digital asset business.

Brad participates regularly at conferences and seminars, and provides commentary to international and local media on the Bermuda insurance industry.

Judy Lee is Director of AGS Hong Kong.  She is also the Asia Group Head of Appleby and a partner in Hong Kong. Judy practises a wide range of Bermuda, Cayman and BVI corporate law, specialising in corporate finance and investment funds. She is responsible for the development in Asia of our law firm as well as our corporate administration and fiduciary services business Appleby Global Services.

Judy has over 25 years of offshore and onshore experience in listings on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and the Singapore Stock Exchange as well as mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments and other corporate finance transactions. Judy leads Hong Kong Capital Markets team which is recognised as one of the offshore market leaders for their specialist IPO and listing work advice in Hong Kong as well as overseas. Under her leadership, the team was able to complete consistently more than 50 listings on the Hong Kong stock exchange in 2018, representing close to 40% of the market share. In addition, she has extensive experience in the structuring and setting up of Cayman investment funds in Asia. She also advises on Bermuda and Cayman court-sanctioned shareholders privatisation schemes of arrangement.

Judy is the three-time winner for the ´Best in Offshore´ individual award at Euromoney Legal Media Group’s Asia Women in Business Law Awards 2013, 2018 and 2019 (as well as nominated as a finalist from 2013 to 2016), the ´Offshore Investment Funds Lawyer of the Year in Hong Kong Award´ at the Corporate INTL Magazine Global Awards 2014 and 2017 and the ´Women in Law Award´ at Lawyer Monthly’s Legal Awards 2016. He specialises in hedge and private equity funds, regulatory advice, real estate and corporate work in matters of Jersey and Cayman Islands law. He advises leading fund managers, advisers and financial institutions and service providers in the UK, Europe, the USA, the Middle East and Asia.

Benjamin is Director of AGS Cayman and a Partner of Appleby Cayman.

Benjamin understands the intricacies of client transactions and operational, legal and regulatory requirements, enabling them to provide substance and support the decision making processes required to help companies achieve their strategic objectives.

Benjamin has significant experience within the structured finance sector representing issuers and investors alike on countless structured finance transactions, including primarily, CLOs, CRE CLOs, PACE securitisations and other bespoke asset classes. He frequently works on securitisation, representing issuers and underwriters in both public and private offerings of securities backed by a variety of asset classes, including residential products and trade receivables.

Benjamin is also highly regarded in the asset backed finance sector, supporting clients with secured structured lending and subscription finance. He also frequently works on restructuring and acquisition finance as well as public equity offerings and private placements.
